Best RFQ and Quote Comparison Software in 2026: 14 Tools Compared

The best RFQ and quote comparison software depends on your team's size and the systems you already run. Enterprises on SAP, Coupa, GEP, JAGGAER or Ivalua usually get the most from their suite's own sourcing module. Teams that run many sourcing events fit Fairmarkit or Zip, and mid-sized companies that want RFPs and purchase orders in one system fit Precoro. Small teams and distributors that send RFQs by email and want suppliers to answer without signing up fit Buyer24, and a buyer with no budget can start with a free spreadsheet template or a free quote comparison tool.

Disclosure: Buyer24 makes one of the tools on this list. Claims about other products link to their sources and were checked on November 6, 2026.

How We Compared

We looked at each tool on eight points:

  • RFQ creation and sending: can you build a request in the tool and send it to several suppliers?
  • How suppliers respond: by email, through a web link, or only after registering on a portal.
  • Quote extraction: does the tool read prices from PDFs, spreadsheets and email, or does someone retype them?
  • Side-by-side comparison: price, quantity, lead time and terms per line item.
  • Follow-ups: reminders to suppliers who have not answered.
  • Pricing transparency: whether the vendor publishes its prices.
  • Setup effort: judged from what each vendor publishes, such as self-serve sign-up, demo-only sales or multi-year contract terms.
  • Best-fit company size.

Claims come from vendor pages and help centers. Where a supplier-side detail comes from one customer's supplier guide, we say so.

SAP Ariba Sourcing

SAP Ariba Sourcing is SAP's cloud application for sourcing projects and events, connected to SAP Business Network. Guided sourcing events cover RFIs, RFPs, reverse auctions and forward auctions, with sealed, multiround and multicurrency bidding. Buyers can compare bids with filters, make single or split awards, read AI bid summaries and compare award scenarios side by side. Suppliers are invited by joining SAP Business Network.

Best for: large organizations already on SAP that run formal RFP and auction events.

Pricing: priced per user per year, on request, with contracts of 1 to 5 years that renew automatically. No free trial or free plan is listed.

Coupa Strategic Sourcing

Coupa Strategic Sourcing runs RFI, RFQ and RFP events, which can be combined with an auction in the pre-bidding phase, plus English, Dutch and Japanese reverse auctions. For routine spend, Coupa says it can invite qualified suppliers, gather pricing and present evaluated awards for buyer review. Complex events use optimization to compare award scenarios. Coupa's supplier documentation says suppliers do not need a Coupa account to take part, though a buyer can require one.

Best for: enterprises on Coupa that want sourcing linked to intake, contracts and invoicing.

Pricing: not published; the product page offers a demo and a contact form.

GEP Quantum Intelligence (formerly GEP SMART)

GEP's sourcing software is now marketed as GEP Quantum Intelligence, and older GEP SMART sourcing pages redirect to GEP Quantum Intelligence. Its Quick Quote and Strategic RFP agents turn intake requests into RFx events, and a response summarization agent evaluates bids with side-by-side analysis. GEP also runs live auctions linked to RFIs and RFPs, and awarded suppliers flow into contracting. In one customer's published guide, EBRD's supplier instructions, suppliers must log into SMART by GEP to view or join an RFX.

Best for: large, multi-region enterprises that want sourcing, auctions and contracting in one platform.

Pricing: not published; the product page offers demo requests and a contact form.

JAGGAER One Sourcing

JAGGAER One Sourcing runs RFI, RFP and RFQ events from reusable templates, with multi-round negotiation, several auction formats, weighted scorecards and award optimization. It has a 3-bid-and-buy comparison view for tail spend, and a Smart Quote feature turns natural-language input into a structured RFQ with suggested suppliers. It also supports multi-tier BOM sourcing for direct materials. In a UK government supplier guide, suppliers register on the eSourcing portal once and log in to respond.

Best for: enterprises and public bodies with direct-material or high-volume tendering.

Pricing: not published; the page offers a demo or a call with an expert.

Ivalua Sourcing

Ivalua Sourcing handles RFI, RFP and RFQ events from templates, multi-round RFx and multi-lot eAuctions that can start from an existing RFQ. Its Sourcing Decision Center uses AI and mathematical optimization to evaluate bids, with prebuilt scenario libraries, scenario rules written in plain language, automated scoring and award recommendations. In Cleveland Clinic's supplier guide, suppliers log into the Ivalua Supplier Portal, and contacts without an account must first set a password.

Best for: enterprises that want configurable, scenario-based bid analysis inside one source-to-pay platform.

Pricing: not published; demos and a contact form only.

Fairmarkit

Fairmarkit describes itself as an agentic sourcing platform. It runs RFQ, RFP, RFI and reverse auction events, and buyers invite suppliers by email with a link to the response page. The Compare Bids tab shows responses side by side for line items, worksheets and questionnaires. Awards can be split across suppliers by line item, with savings shown per awarded supplier. There is no fee for suppliers to quote. For RFQs, suppliers may not need to register, depending on the customer; RFPs, RFIs and reverse auctions require registration.

Best for: procurement teams that run many RFx events and want split awards and savings tracking.

Pricing: not published. Limitation: exporting the bid comparison to a spreadsheet is listed as coming soon.

Zip

Zip is a procurement orchestration platform that manages purchasing from intake to pay. Zip Sourcing creates sourcing projects from intake inputs, turns requirements into supplier-ready RFx packages, and lets buyers score and compare supplier responses with weighted sections and automated normalization. Its 2023 launch post describes guided scoring and side-by-side vendor evaluations. The product page speaks of RFx in general and does not name RFQs, and the pages we read do not describe how suppliers respond.

Best for: companies that want sourcing projects to start from intake requests inside one intake-to-pay system.

Pricing: not published; the Sourcing page offers a demo and a product tour.

Precoro

Precoro is a procurement and AP platform for mid-sized companies with distributed operations. Its quote feature is called Requests for Proposal: Precoro emails each supplier a link, can send reminders to suppliers who have not responded, and shows every proposal side by side with the lowest price highlighted and an XLSX export. When the RFP is complete, a draft purchase order can be created from the winning proposals. Precoro advises keeping an RFP under 500 items.

Best for: mid-sized companies that want RFPs and purchase orders in the same purchasing system.

Pricing: published. Core starts at $499 a month and Automation at $999 a month, both billed annually. The pricing page lists RFPs under Automation, so confirm plan inclusion with Precoro.

Procurify

Procurify is a procure-to-pay platform for purchase requests, approval routing, budgets, purchase orders, receiving, invoice matching and bill payments. Its help center states that Procurify is not designed to create a quote request and describes a workaround. Its Quote Extraction feature fills in an order request from an uploaded vendor quote (PDF, JPEG or PNG, first 5 pages), and several uploaded quotes are combined into one draft. The pages we read describe no side-by-side quote comparison.

Best for: finance and operations teams that need approvals, POs and AP once the vendor and price are chosen.

Pricing: not published; modular, priced by Pro users, with unlimited Basic users.

Esker Quote Request

Esker Quote Request, launched on March 9, 2026, lets occasional buyers create RFQs, invite suppliers, collect and compare quotes from several suppliers and accept an offer from one interface. Accepted awards flow into requisitioning, purchasing and invoicing in Esker's Source-to-Pay suite. Suppliers use a dedicated portal to view requests, submit quotes and track status. The press release describes it as integrated into the suite and does not say whether it is sold on its own.

Best for: organizations already on Esker Source-to-Pay that want non-procurement staff to run simple quote requests.

Pricing: not published.

Buyer24

Buyer24 (buyer24.ai) is an AI sourcing platform. It drafts and sends RFQs to suppliers by email, reads their replies and attached quotes, and compares the quotes side by side. Suppliers never have to sign up or set a password: they reply to the email, or open a free portal and sign in with a 6-digit code sent to their address. Buyer24 extracts items, quantities, unit prices, lead times and terms from emails and PDF, Excel and Word files. Once two suppliers have quoted, it builds a side-by-side comparison with a recommendation, exportable as PDF or Excel. On paid plans, RFQ Autopilot reminds suppliers who have not replied.

Best for: small teams, distributors and resellers that run RFQs by email.

Pricing: a Free plan for one user with no credit card; Basic $49 a month; Pro $99 per seat a month; Organization $149 per seat a month, billed annually. Sending an RFQ never costs a credit.

Limitations: no purchase order management, invoice matching or payments, no approval rules based on spend amount, no reverse auctions, no CSV supplier import, and no built-in ERP connector (on Pro and up, integration is through scoped API keys or the MCP connector).

QuoteWerks VendorRFQ

QuoteWerks is a sales quoting tool, and VendorRFQ is an add-on that sends one RFQ to several vendors and collects their answers inside the quote. It tracks whether each RFQ was sent, viewed or answered, keeps a record of vendor interactions, and compares vendor pricing side by side within the quote. Vendors respond by email without logging into a system.

Best for: resellers and integrators already quoting in QuoteWerks.

Pricing: published. Editions cost $49, $79 or $99 per concurrent user a month on monthly billing, and VendorRFQ adds $20 per user a month because no edition includes it. A free trial is offered.

SourceReady

SourceReady describes itself as an AI-powered product sourcing platform for brands, retailers, importers and sourcing teams, covering supplier discovery, supplier outreach and quote collection. Its quote intelligence features tailor and translate one RFQ template for each manufacturer, send RFQs in bulk, use AI agents for follow-ups and routine questions, and compare returned quotes on pricing, MOQs, lead times and estimated landed cost. Once you connect your email, SourceReady sends RFQs to suppliers from your mailbox and shows their replies in the inquiry's Chat view.

Best for: brands and importers sourcing products from many manufacturers, often across languages.

Pricing: published. A free plan with no credit card, Entry at a $25 monthly list price, and Pro at $299 a month. Usage is credit-based, and the pricing page does not say which plan includes quote comparison.

Spreadsheet Bid Comparison Template

A spreadsheet is the common baseline. Smartsheet's Bid Comparison Template for Excel and Google Sheets compares itemized bids from up to six vendors, with tax and shipping fields and color-coded status tags. It is a free download and is construction-oriented. You request quotes by your own email or phone, type each one in by hand, and follow up with late suppliers yourself.

Best for: occasional, low-volume comparisons.

Pricing: free; needs Excel or a Google account.

Which Tool Fits Your Situation

  • You already run SAP Ariba, Coupa, GEP, JAGGAER or Ivalua: start with that suite's sourcing module, so awards connect to the rest of the suite.
  • You run many formal RFx events and track savings: Fairmarkit or Zip.
  • You want RFPs, purchase orders and AP in one mid-market system: Precoro. If you mainly need approvals and AP, look at Procurify.
  • You are already on Esker Source-to-Pay: Esker Quote Request.
  • You are a small team or distributor sending RFQs by email, and your suppliers will not register on a portal or keep a password: Buyer24, starting on the Free plan.
  • You build sales quotes in QuoteWerks: the VendorRFQ add-on.
  • You are looking for new manufacturers to make a product: SourceReady.
  • You compare a few quotes a year: a spreadsheet template, or upload up to 3 quotes to Buyer24's free quote comparison.
  • You need auctions: SAP Ariba, Coupa, GEP, JAGGAER, Ivalua or Fairmarkit. Buyer24 does not run auctions.

FAQ

Is there free quote comparison software?

Yes. Buyer24's free quote comparison takes up to 3 supplier quotes as PDF, Excel, Word, JPG or PNG files and compares price, quantities, freight, lead times and terms side by side. No sign-up is needed to read the result; saving it or downloading it as PDF or Excel needs an email address verified with a code. Buyer24's Free plan also includes comparisons inside your RFQs. SourceReady has a free plan, though its pricing page does not say which plan includes comparison, and Smartsheet's bid comparison spreadsheet is a free download.

Can AI compare supplier quotes in different formats?

Yes, with limits that vary by tool. Buyer24 reads supplier emails and PDF, Excel and Word attachments and extracts items, quantities, unit prices, lead times and terms for a side-by-side comparison. SAP Ariba offers AI bid summaries, and GEP's summarization agent evaluates bids side by side. Procurify's Quote Extraction reads PDF, JPEG and PNG quotes into an order request without comparing them. Check which file types a tool accepts.

Do suppliers need to log in to a portal to send a quote?

It depends on the tool and on how the buyer set it up. Buyer24, QuoteWerks VendorRFQ and SourceReady let suppliers reply by email (SourceReady sends RFQs from your connected mailbox), and Buyer24 also offers a portal that signs suppliers in with a 6-digit code instead of a password. Precoro suppliers answer through a web link in an invitation email; its help page does not say whether they need an account. Coupa does not require a supplier account by default, though a buyer can require one. Fairmarkit RFQs may not need registration, depending on the customer, while its RFPs, RFIs and auctions do. Published supplier guides for GEP, JAGGAER and Ivalua deployments ask suppliers to register or log in.

Which RFQ tools publish their prices?

Buyer24, QuoteWerks, Precoro and SourceReady publish prices on their websites. SAP Ariba, Coupa, GEP, JAGGAER, Ivalua, Fairmarkit, Zip, Procurify and Esker do not; pricing comes from their sales teams.
