What is Buyer24?

Overview

Buyer24 is an AI-powered procurement platform that helps organizations manage the entire request-for-quote (RFQ) process — from sending out requests to comparing supplier quotes — all in one place.

Instead of tracking suppliers in spreadsheets and managing quote emails in a cluttered inbox, Buyer24 gives you a purpose-built workspace where AI does the heavy lifting: it reads incoming supplier emails, extracts pricing and delivery information automatically, and generates side-by-side quote comparisons so you can make informed decisions faster.

The Core Workflow

The typical Buyer24 workflow looks like this:

1. Create an RFQ — Describe what you need to buy, set a budget and deadline, and add it to your request list.
2. Contact suppliers — Send your RFQ to one or more suppliers directly from the platform using the built-in email interface.
3. Suppliers reply — Supplier replies are automatically captured and matched to your RFQ, no matter which email address they reply to.
4. AI extracts quotes — As supplier emails arrive, Buyer24's AI reads them and extracts structured pricing data (items, quantities, unit prices, delivery dates, warranty terms).
5. Compare quotes — Once you have two or more quotes, generate an AI-powered comparison report that highlights the best options and flags trade-offs.
6. Make your decision — Review the comparison, select a supplier, and archive the completed request.

Beyond quote extraction, Buyer24 includes a set of AI capabilities that handle work for you:

Start by email or chat — no account needed — You can kick off an RFQ simply by emailing your request, or by describing it in a web chat, without signing up first. See Starting an RFQ by Email.

Supplier portal — Your suppliers get a free portal where they can view your RFQs and submit quotes in a structured way instead of (or in addition to) replying by email. See Supplier Portal Sign-In.

Email-style interface — Each RFQ has a threaded message view per supplier, just like an email inbox. You can read, reply, and track every conversation without leaving the platform.

AI quote extraction — Buyer24 reads incoming supplier emails and PDFs and automatically extracts structured data: line items, unit prices, quantities, delivery timelines, payment terms, and more.

Quote comparison — When you have multiple supplier quotes, generate a rich comparison report with AI-written insights that highlight the best value, fastest delivery, and key trade-offs.

Built-in email — Every RFQ gets a unique email address ({request-id}@rfq.buyer24.ai). Suppliers reply to it, and replies are automatically routed to the right RFQ — no configuration needed.
