Using Your Own Domain
Put your hosted site and customer portal on your own web address by adding one DNS record — the certificate, the go-live and the redirect are automatic.
The Scenario
Your Buyer24 site is live at yourcompany.supplier24.ai and it works — but the address isn't yours. You want customers to see www.yourcompany.com, on your letterhead, in your email signature, on the quote you just sent.
That takes one DNS record. Everything after it happens on its own.
Connecting your own domain is part of a paid plan. Without one, the panel explains this and your site stays live at its
supplier24.aiaddress.
What you'll need
- A domain you own, and access to wherever its DNS is managed — GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare, Google Domains, your IT provider
- Five minutes now, and somewhere between a few minutes and an hour of waiting
The three steps
Open the Cockpit → Website → Site settings → Custom domain.
1. Enter the address you want
Type the address your customers should use — for example www.yourcompany.com. Any subdomain works: shop.yourcompany.com, quotes.yourcompany.com.
2. Add the one record it shows you
Buyer24 gives you a single record to create at your DNS provider:

Copy each field with the copy button rather than retyping it. This is the only record you have to create — there is no ownership TXT record to add and no certificate to request.
3. Tell us it's in
Click I've added the record. From that moment Buyer24 checks once a minute and walks itself through the rest:

You get an email when it goes live. You don't have to sit and watch the panel — though Check now is there if you're impatient.
What happens when it goes live
- Your site serves on your domain, over HTTPS, with a valid certificate that renews itself.
- Your old address redirects. Anyone arriving at
yourcompany.supplier24.ai— an old link, a card you printed, a search result — is sent to the new address. Nothing breaks. - Your customer portal moves with it. The quote request page and the customer account page are part of your site, so they are now on your domain too, and the links in the quote emails you send point there.
The bare domain (without www)
Version one covers www and other subdomains. To also catch people who type yourcompany.com with no prefix, set a redirect from the bare domain to your www address at your registrar — most registrars offer this as a checkbox called domain forwarding or a web redirect. That's the one manual step, and it only has to be done once.
Changing or disconnecting
- To move to a different address, enter the new one — the old one is released for you.
- To disconnect, click Remove. Your site stays available at its
supplier24.aiaddress immediately; only the custom address stops working.
Troubleshooting
